This time I am going to talk about makan. There is one “tze char” stall around Bukit Batok Central which sells cheap food. It’s located at one of the two coffee shops linked together, which is walking distance from Bukit Batok Seconday School.

How cheap is cheap? $4.80 for one dish! You can choose from over 20 dishes at this price and that includes fish, cereal prawns, tofu and many more dishes. But of course, it’s a small plate. Don’t expect a normal sized plate of fish for $4.80.

However, if you wish to order a normal/big sized plate, there are still available. Furthermore, there are many other dishes you can order at an additional cost. Price ranges from $6-12, depending on what you want.

This way, you can try out more dishes with the same amount of price especially for a small group of people like 3-4 people.

Quality of the food – Average. Just the normal standard like any other tze char stall.

Service – Average. The other time my family went there to eat, had to wait for around 25mins as there as a long queue. Many were taking away. There will be long queues during weekends for dinner.

I personally feel that it is cheap but not the best food around to try. But still, it is worth the try if you are around there.
