friday nite

well, those hu recieved my sms regarding the sec sch class outing should know wads the outcome le... shall not talk abt it...


shall talk abt wad happened today.. met my sec sch teacher mr roy.. to go to sim lim... his pc had some problems with the hard disk drive... n i m going there to do shoppping for my dear... help her buy thumb drive n memory card for her hp...


well, the technician of the stall we went was quite helpful and patient with us.. unlike the cashier... so ah beng type..haha.. but at least found out tat its the disk drive tat is not operating.. but have to go down to the company itself: Seagate for a one-to-one exchange...


after tat, walked around to find good bargains for the two items tat i nid to buy... in the end, bought a Imation 1GB thumb drive for $21 and a 1GB Kingston MMC (mobile) memory card for $31.90... think its quite a good buy le.. so bought it le lo...


after tat, intended to go to either bukit timah tat stretch of food stalls or the railway mart there.. but both places didn't had vacant parking lots... well, its friday night.. wad to do..


when i reached home.. my mum asked me wad course m i applying for.. n those hu are closer to me would know wad i m applying.. and again, they are not encouraging me to take up the course... last time my dad gave me the "u sure u want to take up this course? " look when i told him... my sis said " i thought the market for such pple has died down?" ... now my mum said " u will face stiff competition from foreign talent who are better than you & are u sure there will be demand for such graduates? "


its reallie saddening for me.. cuz they are not reallie supportive of me.. esp when they are my family... but i know.. they are thinking for my own good.. maybe they think i should study the "better" courses or maybe they are just worried.. i know its important to look at the job market and demand, cuz ultimately i will be working for someone or some company.. yes.. but the question is "will the market be the same or are u sure the market will remain like tat for the next 6 years?" as i would roughly take around another 6 years b4 i graduate from an uni...
